50 Years of Decimalisation

We are delighted to commemorate the 50th anniversary of decimalisation in the Bailiwick of Guernsey with six stamps depicting the coins issued in 1971 when decimalisation was introduced.

The last time that coins featured on our stamps was in 1979, so we are particularly delighted to issue this set, which features the use of spot UV gloss to create a high shine effect on the coins.

50p stamp: 50 pence piece

68p stamp: 10 pence piece

70p stamp: 5 pence piece

85p stamp; 2 pence piece

95p stamp: 1 pence piece

£1.02 stamp: 1/2 pence piece
