Jersey Post will launch a new set of Post & Go designs alongside an exhibition overprint at Stampex this autumn.

The new designs will be available from both of the Jersey Post kiosks, JE01 and JE02, from 14 September 2016 and the stamps will feature a selection of Jersey’s beetles painted by natural history illustrator Lizzie Harper. With a large number to choose from, the following beetles were chosen due to the variety of shapes and colours they present: the orange ladybird, harlequin ladybird, bloody-nosed beetle, banded sexton beetle, striped ladybird and the seven-spot ladybird. JE01 will be at Stampex and the JE02 kiosk is situated at Jersey’s main Broad Street post office in St Helier.

“We are pleased to be able to offer Post & Go collectors a second new design this year,” comments Melanie Gouzinis, Head of Philatelic at Jersey Post. “It is important that we support our customers by giving them new designs to add to their collections and we are delighted with Lizzie Harper’s illustrations.”

The release coincides with the first day of the annual Autumn Stampex exhibition in London and as usual, Post & Go collectors can look forward to an exhibition overprint available from the JE01 kiosk during the show. The overprint will be printed on the stamps featuring the Jersey Flag design and will read: The Battle of the Somme 1916-2016.

For both the beetles design and the Somme overprint, collectors strips will also be available from the ‘B series’ back office kiosk ‘B002’ and can be ordered now through the Philatelic Bureau.

This year, Autumn Stampex will take place from 14-17 September at the Business Design Centre in London. All Post & Go B002 strips and philatelic stamp products such as First Day Covers and Presentation Packs are available to pre-order at www.jerseystamps.com or by contacting the Jersey Philatelic Bureau on: 00 44 (0)1534 516320.
