Also referred to as the Tyrrell six wheeler, the Tyrrell P34 competed in the Formula 1 world championships of 1976 and 1977. The only model with six wheels to have competed in the championship, the P34 savoured its hour of glory at the Swedish Grand Prix in 1976, when drivers Jody Scheckter and Patrick Depailler secured pole position and then came in first and second.
