Jersey Shells Post & Go to launch at Spring Stampex

Jersey Post & Go_Shells

A new Post & Go design, Shells, will be launched by Jersey Post on 15 February 2017 at Spring Stampex in London. The stamps will be available to vend from Jersey Post’s JE01 kiosk, alongside Jersey flag stamps printed with a special exhibition overprint.

“The six stamps feature some of the shells that can be found on Jersey’s beaches,” explains Melanie Gouzinis, Head of Philatelic at Jersey Post, “and they have been beautifully illustrated by Jersey artist, Nick Parlett. As well as being available from Jersey Post’s JE01 Post & Go kiosk during the exhibition, they will also be available from the JE02 kiosk at Jersey’s main Broad Street post office in St Helier and from Jersey Post’s back office B002 kiosk through the philatelic bureau.”

Jersey flag stamps featuring a special exhibition overprint will also be vended from the JE01 kiosk during the exhibition. The overprint which reads: HM The Queen Accession 1952, commemorates 65 years since Her Majesty The Queen ascended the throne. For those unable to attend Stampex, back office collectors’ strips will also be available from Jersey’s B002 kiosk.

This year, Spring Stampex will take place from 15-18 February at the Business Design Centre in London. Shells Post & Go stamps, B002 overprints and philatelic stamp products such as First Day Covers and Presentation Packs are available to pre-order at www.jerseystamps.com or by contacting the Jersey Philatelic Bureau on: 00 44 (0)1534 616320. New issue Post & Go stamps and overprints from Jersey Post’s B002 kiosk are now available as subscription items through the Jersey Philatelic Bureau.
