Mareterra Monaco

Built on six hectares of land reclaimed from the sea, Mareterra is the Principality of Monaco’s brand new eco-district. It was officially opened by H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco on 4 December 2024. Its design and development were guided by the need to protect the marine environment and foster greater biodiversity, and some 40% of Mareterra is covered with vegetation, making it Monaco’s greenest district. The area fits seamlessly and harmoniously into the Monegasque coastline and the city.
